The NAIS electronic service provides consumers with an opportunity to check the validity of a citizen's identity documents, including biometric documents, by accessing information resources of the Ministry of Internal Affairs containing relevant information.
Biometric identity documents include: identification card of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, biometric residence permit in the Republic of Belarus of a foreign citizen, biometric residence permit in the Republic of Belarus of a stateless person.
The owner is the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
The search is performed by identification number and type of identity document, indicating its series and number
Strong authentication (using a valid private key, the private key certificate (PKC) of which is issued by the RCC of the SPKMS, a biometric identity document (ID-card), as well as other methods of strong authentication available in the Unified System for Identification of Individuals and Legal Entities (US IILE)).
To obtain the service using the Unified Portal of Electronic Services it is necessary to:
1. own electronic digital signature aids;
2. pass authentication in the portal. The service will be available in your personal account.
To obtain the service in automatic mode by system-to-system technology it is necessary to:
1. fill out a request according to the electronic form;
2. enter into a treaty for provision of services;
3. establish a secure connection by means of a link encryption software provided by the NCES (National Center for Electronic Services).
