Electronic service of NAIS shall be rendered based on information from the information system Automated Information System of the National Segment of the Vehicles Electronic Passports System (Passports of Vehicle Frames) and Electronic Passports of Self-Propelled Vehicles and other Types of Machines in the Republic of Belarus.

Search is made by five (5) types of requests, each whereof contains individual set of indicators. Type code of a vehicle electronic passport, electronic passport number and identification number (VIN) are constant request indicators.
