Using the NAIS electronic service available on the Unified Portal of Electronic Services, citizens of the Republic of Belarus are provided with the opportunity to inform the internal affairs bodies about existing citizenship of a foreign state or a residence permit or other document from a foreign state granting the right to exemptions and other benefits in connection with political, religious views or national affiliation.
The electronic service is provided in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus No.242-Z (242-З) dated January 5, 2023 "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Citizenship of the Republic of Belarus".
The owner is the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus
Strong authentication (using a valid private key, the private key certificate (PKC) of which is issued by the RCC of the SPKMS, a biometric identity document (ID-card), as well as other methods of strong authentication available in the Unified System for Identification of Individuals and Legal Entities (US IILE)).
To obtain the service it is necessary to:
1. own electronic digital signature aids;
2. pass authentication in the portal. The service will be available in your personal account.
Providing information on dual citizenship or exemptions granted is carried out in the form of submitting a notification (1INF (1ИНФ) and 2INF (2ИНФ)) in two state languages to the internal affairs bodies
Submitting a notification in real time
On a free-of-charge basis in accordance with legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus (laws, edicts, decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus)
Citizens of the Republic of Belarus
The result of providing the service is an electronic message stating that the notification has been generated and submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Change of the notification status is available for viewing in the "My Services" tab upon request
